I did like the story line, but some of the detail, in my opinion, was redundant and I just wanted to get through it so I could move on to the story. I have finished the 3 book series (at least I didn't find any more) and will continue to follow this author.Product details

An absolutely wonderful series......plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing. The book kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Going to purchase Book 3 and get started reading. Have a feeling I will be up all night reading!
I've really enjoyed the Jade Monroe series. Someone is kidnapping young girls and selling them to the highest bidder. You follow along with Jade and her partner to find out who is doing this and why. It's a fast moving story, well written.
This was a very good story with a less than average conclusion. The story revolves around a police detective investigating a murder case which ultimately leads to a missing person case. As the investigation progressed several obstacles must be overcome. The subplots add to your enjoyment of the story but ultimately the story culminates with a weak ending.
Two thumbs up and the rest of my fingers. You had me hooked within a couple pages and I didn't put it down till I was finished. You do an excellent job of introducing your characters and make their stories interesting from the get go. I am so glad I found a new author to read. I am going to finish this series and look into your other books. Thank you for sharing your talent.
A good story except for too much extraneous detail. How many times do we need to be told that coffee was made and poured into Styrofoam cups? Leave some of that out and we could concentrate on the story.
I enjoyed the story. Not the usual plot. And a bit of a different ending. No the case is solved and all is back to living happy ever after except for the detectives. I enjoyed how professional they were but how they also had good fellowship and camaraderie.
Once again, I wasn't disappointed! C.M. Sutter is doing a great job holding my interest in this Jade Monroe crime thriller series. Captive had quite a different story line than Maniacal, which I love, especially when it's a series. I was definitely on the edge of my seat at times!
I can’t wait to see what Jade’s next adventure holds!
