Great book!! Fielding French ignored the newspaper blood that ran in her veins to follow her dreams of Dance. When her Uncle Mac becomes terminal he asks her for one favor, to prove Chandler Bentley innocent of killing his wife. Fielding gets a part in his new Broadway play in order to get to know the reclusive producer. Fielding never expected to be so completely overwhelmed and attracted to the man she was supposed to be researching.AJ Chase does an amazing job of writing a well played out suspense. As the book progresses we learn more and more about the characters and their past. Just when you think you know why things are happening a new twist is revealed. The characters are excellent. The storyline is strong and captivating. This book is very difficult to put down once you start reading!!

I was given an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is a story that will pull you in and keep you in suspense. The plot is riveting! It involves a Duke, a smoking hot romance, a serial killer and the inner workings of producing a Broadway show.
Fielding French is a dancer, who has inherited two large newspapers. She really isn't interested in journalism. Her parents were both journalists and were killed a week apart, pursuing their stories.
Her terminally-ill, Uncle Mac French has requested that she investigate and prove that Duke Chandler Bentley is innocent of killing his wife, even though charges were never filed against him. He was certainly accused in the press and his life was made miserable. Mac also warned her not to let Chandler touch her. Fielding feels an extreme pressure to fulfill her uncle's request because he raised her even before her parents deaths.
There is a series of similar murders that follow after the murder of Chandler's wife, Helena.
Fielding auditions for a part in the Broadway show which is being produced by Chandler, so she can investigate and get answers to her questions. There is a magnetic pull between Chandler and Fielding, felt by both. Denied by both.
There are interesting, colorful dancers and staff that will keep you wondering who can be trusted.
This is a great read and I whole heartily recommended it.
I loved this book.The characters were great and the book really flowed.It was a cozy romance but not explicit.This book kept me engaged the entire time.I will read it again!!!!!
Romantic and spellbinding mystery all in one. Very interesting plot twist and subject matter.

This was very good story. Good characters, good story line, and was interesting. My first time reading this author, and would read them again.
Truly a book that pulls you in. Great characters with complicated personalities who stay true to them to the end. Definitely a great romance complete with great steamy love scenes, cheesy love lines, and a happy ending. Yet through it all the author keeps them true to their characters and true to themselves. I got completely lost in the writing and infatuated with the characters. I hope I get to catch up with them again.....
